Sure, his diagnosis is outwardly apparent, but how has Mike inwardly addressed the degenerative disease that led to spiritual struggles IN his heart? Likewise, how many fellow Christ followers have also wrestled with God while facing life’s gamut of obstacles? At church services, small groups, and conferences, Mike digs into God’s Word and shares his own story to encourage and motivate others to trust God and overcome the trials that build our faith.

A new normal
In 1998 Mike was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis which set his life on a journey filled with land mines challenging him to view obstacles as opportunities in disguise. Through Scripture, prayer, and trial and error Mike is continuing to learn how to live a life of joy and hope in the midst of difficult situations. That life now includes pastoring his church as Executive Pastor, authoring his second book, mentoring teams as a certified coach, and leading his own family as husband and father.
